The TDP-JSP-BJP alliance recently unveiled their joint manifesto, prominently featuring images of TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s photograph was missing from the manifesto, despite BJP being a part of the alliance.
Seizing this as an opportunity, the rival YSR Congress Party tried to capitalise by falsely spreading news stating that there is a rift between BJP and TDP-JSP and that is the reason why Modi’s picture is missing from the manifesto.
They actively propagated this false narrative through social media platforms and attempted to brainwash people regarding the same.
Finally, TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh responded to all speculations revolving around this issue. At the Yuva Galam meeting at Nandyala today, he was asked about the absence of Modi’s picture on the manifesto.
Answering the same, Lokesh said, “BJP decided to release a single manifesto nationwide and stick to it in all NDA-alliance states as well. It was their party’s decision. There is nothing more than that. Still, YCP leaders are trying to politicise the issue.”
“We will deliver all promises made in the manifesto and we stick to our word. YCP should stop deploying such cheap tactics,” he further added.
