No More Water Fights Between AP and Telangana?

Central Government is finally moving in the direction of solving the water tussles between both the Telugu States. The Krishna River Management Board had decided to deploy engineers of both the states to monitor the exact water usage of AP and Telangana. In the recent times, we have seen both the sides alleging misuse on others.

This type of arrangement will be present at Jurala, Srisailam, and Nagarjunasagar Projects. The Board will be considering the figures put up by the engineers of both the sides in deciding the water shares. Telangana already put up its list of engineers for this purpose and AP has not given the list completely.

The Board has informed Andhra Pradesh that in case their members are appointed, the Board will consider the figures given by Telangana Engineers. This is a decision taken by the Apex Council meeting of both the Chief Minister earlier last month. This joint observation is a temporary arrangement until Telemetry is deployed at the projects for exact measurement.
