No recall of AP Police from Hyderabad

Andhra Pradesh government had decided that the existing Police forces of AP in Hyderabad will continue as it is. Earlier there were news that AP DGP after the intervention of the Governor decided to call back some 400 Police force from Hyderabad. But the cabinet had decided that they will continue.

AP Chief Minister’s office, Secretariat, Ministers Quarters, HOD offices, Residences of the leaders are being guarded by AP Police. On the other side, Telangana Police are also continuing their duties at the above said place as they have no orders from Telangana government.

This dispute can be blown up to a big controversy as Telangana government is not accepting AP Police in Hyderabad. However AP government claims that it can no longer trust Telangana police controlled by KCR government for its safety and security. They say they will continue AP forces until law and order is given to the Governor.
