No respite to Roja in High Court

YSR Congress MLA, Roja who is suspended for one year from AP Assembly thought of making a comeback to the Aseembly by getting a stay on the suspension from the Hyderabad High Court. However The high court did not issue any state. Assembly Secretary sought more time to file a counter in this case.

The court agreed for it and posted the next hearing of the case to March 9th. This means that Roja will not be able to attend the budget session of the Assembly starting from March 5th. Assembly sources say that the case will not stand in court as the Speaker has the right to suspend any member from the house for any period of time according to Article 194 of Indian Constitution.

It is known that Roja is caught on video using some very personal comments on Anitha and disgraceful name calling of the Chief Minister. Finally was awarded one year suspension. The all party committee appointed by the speaker to look in to the issue, also seconded the punishment awarded to Roja.
