No Surprises in TRS Manifesto

Telangana Rashtra Samiti Supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao finally released the Party Manifesto just four days before the Polling. The Manifesto was released in a Public Meeting at Secunderabad a little while ago. The Manifesto has no surprises and only contained the sops which were announced by KCR days after the Assembly Dissolution.

Increase of Asara Pensions (1000 to 2016 Rupees) and Handicapped Pensions (1500 to 3016 Rupees), Decrease of Age for Oldage Pensions (68 to 57 years), Unemployment Allowance (3016 Rupees), Five to Six Lakhs to construct 2BHK houses for those who have their own lands, Increase of Rythu Bandhu from 8000 Rupees per acre to 10000 per acre every year, and One Lakh Runa Mafi are the important ones.

The Manifesto also promises to put pressure on the Central Government to increase Reservations for Minorities and STs. Corporations for the poor in various castes and Poor in the Upper Castes are the other promises. Given that TRS and Mahakutami announced their manifestos, it has to be seen where the people will enforce the faith on 7th.
