The Nominations time in Telangana is complete by 4 PM today. There was heavy rush today as most leaders filed their nominations today. Most parties delayed the announcing of MLA/MP lists till the last minute. Adding to that, today is an auscpicious day to file nominations, so most candidates opted to day to file the nominations. Tomorrow the nomination applications will be scrutinized and any defaulters will have their nominations rejected.
The candidates can withdraw their nominations till 12th of this month. Several disappointed leaders of various parties have filed their nominations as rebels, parties will have tough time negotiating with them and making them withdraw. The ten districts of Telangana will go in to polls on April 30th. Both the Assembly and Parliament elections will take place simultaneously.
