Not Just Wedding Music, CBI Music Other Side for Gali

Former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, who has been out on bail getting ready to celebrate his daughter’s upcoming nuptials, was in the news recently for sending out an unusual and lavish invitation card to the wedding. However, it seems that the wedding was not the only thing in mind for the ex-tourism minister.

The High Court of Karnataka has issued a notice to the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) regarding several petitions filed by Reddy relating to the proceedings going on in a CBI court involving him.

The cases are about the illegal excavation and exportation of iron ore from the Belekeri port in which Mr. Reddy was allegedly involved but has claimed in his petitions that he wasn’t. The hearing to his claims will be carried next week. This seems like Gali on one side spending money like water for daughter’s wedding but on the other side his corruption from past continues to haunt him. Will this grand wedding makes his family proud in any way?
