Not Modi, Mohan Babu impresses GHMC!

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had taken an innovate idea to irk the property owners who are evading House Tax for a long time. There are several owners who did not pay their pending taxes despite several notices.

GHMC has decided to put up dumping bins in front of those houses who are evading taxes. The corporation is of the idea the smell and dirt of garbage will make them realize their mistake and clear the Tax arrears. If we recall (read here) Mohan Babu did the same in Chittoor district, he cleaned the dirt in front of some houses and threw the dirt into their houses.

Already GHMC had setup dumping bins near 10-20 buildings in the vicinity of 10th Circle of the corporation i.e. Panjagutta and Somajiguda areas. The corporation will very soon extend the idea to the whole GHMC limits. There are several 100s of Crores pending in the form of property tax in the GHMC limits. The corporation off late shifted its focus on to get them cleared.
