Why Not Stay Quiet Jagan?

The Income Declaration Scheme rolled out by the Central Government suddenly got on to Leader of the Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. TDP leaders in the state have alleged that it is Jagan Mohan Reddy who declared 10000 Crore Black Money in the final hours of the scheme closure. Naturally, due to Jagan’s dubious past and corruption cases, the allegation gained undue attention.

The Income Declaration Scheme has a clause of secrecy and so there is no chance of revealing who can be the person. The allegation will get passed away like any political allegation but than Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to cut his own branch. The Leader of Opposition the other day wrote a letter to Narendra Modi to reveal all the names of the defaulters.

He went on to say that his party has all proofs about Chandrababu Naidu’s government corruption and is sure that the 10000 Crore guy is a binami of CM Chandrababu Naidu. TDP Leaders are now alleging that Jagan is trying to cover up his misdeeds knowing that Center can not anyway reveal the names of the people who declared the black money under this scheme.

On the other side, Political Experts say Jagan unnecessarily reacting on this issue is a foolish act without letting it die a natural death. They say Jagan making corruption allegations on Chandrababu will have no weight among the people since it is Jagan who is attending the court hearings every Friday. They say he should have kept quiet and allow the issue to subside. But then we all know Jagan has become a master in self-goals after the 2014 defeat.
