Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is gearing up to send letters to every beneficiary of Loan Waiver regarding the terms of the waiver and the amount of hard work and difficulties that went in to implementing the scheme. The cash strapped state managed to allocate close to 8000 Crore for this scheme which is the biggest debt waiver scheme implemented by any state in the country.

However due to the bad publicity, the TDP government did not receive as much mileage as it should have got from this scheme. So, the government is planning to send these letters which will also mention about the details of beneficiaries and quantum of debt relief in a village.

Loan Waiver to farmers and women self help groups is one of the flagship schemes of Telugu Desam Party in the last elections. After coming to power, there is tremendous pressure on Chandrababu to deliver it even though the state is reeling under the pressure of bifurcation.
