Now the Show Begins in Amaravati

The state government had started plots allotment in Capital Villages. This allotment which began with Nelapadu on Saturday will cover all the 29 villages by the end of October. Analysts see that the allotment of Residential and Commercial Plots to farmers will open flood gates to development in the area.

The villagers are in upbeat mood over the offers from builders for the development of the plots. Some of them are willing to develop own ventures in their flats while some are planning to hold them for good rates later on. Already the villagers are getting rosy proposals from realtors for development projects in which farmers will be the partners with land as their stake.

Andhra Pradesh government has pooled about 34,000 acres of farmland from 29 villages in the Amaravati region to build a world class capital with nine cities. Nelapadu farmers will be handed over the allotted plots in the next three weeks and the government will lay roads to those plots in the next three months.
