NRI Pellikoduku Scam: Dupes 2.75 Cr

A scamster from Vijayawada looted Rs. 2.75 crores from a woman by promising that he would marry her and take her to the USA.

Getting into details, Vijayawada resident Sri Bala Vamshi Krishna, aged 37, created a fake profile on shaadi.com and met a lady (30) on the website. He promised to marry her and take her to the USA. He also told her that he works for Amazon.

Exploiting her CIBIL score of 743 as inadequate for a US visa, Vamshi Krishna asserted she needed a score of 845. He proposed assisting her in securing loans from banks to boost her score, subsequently absconding with the Rs. 2.75 crores he obtained from her.

He absconded after taking money. The victim realized that she was cheated and filed a case against Vamshi Krishna.

Later, it was found that there have been similar cases against Vamshi Krishna since 2011. It was revealed that he stole around 10 crores from various ladies by cheating them.
