NRIs delay Capital Land Pooling!

The land pooling for Andhra Pradesh capital finally began on Friday. Farmers of Nelapadu actively came forward to give their lands for the capital but technical problems delayed the entire process. Government has pooled 101 acres on day from 39 farmers.

The process is delayed as farmers are informed about all the required documents in the last minute. Also many land owners are doing jobs or businesses in other areas, states or countries. The officials did not have information if the land owners have to present in person or if there can be any alternatives. They clarified to discuss the issue with the higher officials and clarify the issue.

51786 acres of land is available in the first phase land pooling villages and the government is targeting to pool in 38000 acres. Three different packages were announced for the land losing farmers in the capital area depending on the number of crops grown in those lands.
