NTR’s Name Wiped Off In Less Than 24 Hours

Jagan Government’s decision to change the name of NTR’s University raked a big controversy but the government still went ahead. The Governor gave his assent for the name change the other day.

Less than 24 hours after the Governor gave his approval, many changes took place in the University in Vijayawada.

Initially, the old name was deleted from the website and Dr. YSR was added. Also, the emblem created in 1986 has also been changed.

Dr. Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy University of Health Sciences was written on the name boards of the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar.

The measurements are being taken as part of arrangements to remove NTR’s name from the top of the university building. In all departments, actions were taken to not have NTR’s name on every computer, item, table, and cupboard.

Clear instructions have already been issued to the employees of the respective departments to ensure there is no name of NTR anywhere in the University.
