Obama’s Taj Mahal visit cancelled

American President Barack Obama’s Agra trip is cancelled now. Obama couple was to visit Taj Mahal in this trip and security arrangements were beefed up in Agra for the last one week.

While the officials did not reveal the reason behind this cancellation, National media was abuzz that there is some security scare which forced it in the last minute. It is also said that his tour schedule may also undergo some changes in the last minute now as a result.

Obama will be landing in the National Capital tonight. He will be the first US president to be the Chief Guest for India’s Republic day celebrations event. He is also the only US President to visit India twice during his tenure.
