Official: AP capital between Guntur and VJA

It is now almost official that the new state capital of Andhra Pradesh will come up between Vijayawada and Guntur. The issue was came up in the meeting between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu and Urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu. It is said that Naidu expressed his opinion of having the capital between Guntur and Vijayawada. There are reports that government is already working on land acquisition for building the capital.

According to the sources, the new capital will have all the administrative offices, courts and Assembly at one place besides residential colonies for the employees. On the other side, Naidu is planning to diversify various development projects across the state according to the strengths of the districts. He is already looking at various plans and development blueprints for the new state capital which will be on par with any top class capitals in the World.
