In fact, it is one of the biggest foreign investments in the entire country. While the State is celebrating this event, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy owned Sakshi Media in Anantapur Edition Published a Story titled ‘Kaaru Mabbulu’. While it made no mention of the Mega Event in the front page, it wrote a story portraying Kia Motors in Bad Light.
The Article went on to say how Kia Motors is a massive scam and how there are no jobs from the company. The Story said all the jobs are being given to Tamilians. Sakshi also alleged that the people who have given lands for Kia Motors are yet to get the compensation package promised to them.
It is obvious that the story is timed in a way that the Government does not get Goodwill in the districts for bringing a Mega Investment. If it is really the case, it will be interesting to see why the Opposition Parties are not trying to corner the ruling parties by stirring agitations there. When Political Interest has become Paramount than the state, we can not expect anything more.
