The idea of Aadhar Based E-Payments App mooted by Vijayawada Collector, Babu Ahmed emerged as a revolution at the time of Cash Crunch. The app is extensively being used in Vijayawada shops and has come as a boon to overcome the ongoing crisis and help cashless transactions to be done with ease even without a debit or RuPay card in the state.

The idea also ensured the lack of an adequate number of electronic Point of Sale machines is not felt. All that the seller needs to have a smart mobile phone, a software application installed in it, a biometric device and a micro-USB cable to connect the phone with a biometric device.

Whenever a buyer puts his thumb impression, the money will be deducted from the Aadhar seeded bank account. The Union Government is also inspired from the idea and is in the process of rolling a central government Aadhar based e-payments app.
