One More Building for Amaravati Assembly

The Interim Assembly in Amaravati will have one more building constructed very soon. Speaker, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao brought to the notice of the Chief Minister that the existing building is being congested to provide Office Space to Assembly Secretariat Staff.

The Speaker has asked for another building of 10000 Square Feet. The Chief Minister has agreed to this proposal. Tenders will be called for this additional building as soon as the modalities are finalized. It is likely to be decided in the next cabinet session.

On the other side, Andhra Pradesh Assembly will sit for a Special Session to pass the GST Bills. The session will happen in the month-end or in the first week of next month. Telangana Assembly passed these bills the other day.
