One more ED attachment in Jagan’s case!

The Enforcement Directorate had attached some more assets worth 7.85 Crore in connection with YS Jagan’s money laundering case. This is in relation to the case against Ms Penna Cement Industries Limited and Ms Pioneer Holiday Resorts Limited.

The attached assets include few land pieces in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh and parts of a hotel building in the posh Banjara hills area here.Both the companies have said to have received undue favours from the then YSR government in Andhra Pradesh as against quid pro quo investments in the group companies of Jagan.

It is alleged that CMD of Ms Penna Cement Industries committed to have paid bribes to Jagan for the undue favours he received from Jagan’s father. It is already known that ED had attached assets worth over Rs 1,000 crore in the overall PMLA cases against Jagan. However this is the smallest of all attachments so far.
