One more household survey in Telangana!

Remember the intensive household survey in Telangana which was conducted by KCR government very soon after they came to power. The state government then brought the whole state to a still and conducted the survey across all the districts. There were allegations that the survey was waste and even the state government could not come up with good explanation how the survey was used.

Telangana is gearing up for one more such survey this time on the insistence of the central government. The survey will go on from November 16th to December 15th. Telangana government had issued a G.O. regarding that.

The necessity of the survey and its operatives are not revealed as of now but buzz is that it is regarding the effective implementation for various central schemes. Unlike the intensive house hold survey last year, the survey will not wind up in one day declaring holiday to the state.
