One more YSR Congress MLA jumps the fence!

YSR Congress suffered one more blow as one more MLA of the party jumped the fence. Pathapatnam (Srikakulam district) MLA, Venkataramana announced that he is joining the ruling party. Venkataramana will be joining Telugu Desam Party on fourth of this month. This is the first joining from Uttarandhra.

“I worked in TDP for 10 years. I had to join YSR Congress unexpectedly. Now I have decided to join TDP since it is my responsibility to ensure my constituency develops,” Venkataramana announced. Venkataramana is a follower of Late Yerranna Naidu. His father is a five time MLA. Both the father and son are joining TDP.

This takes the count of defected MLAs to Seven. One YSR Congress MLC also jumped the fence. There are indications from the ruling party leaders that more YSR Congress are in touch with them and are ready to join the party before the budget session begins. According to internal sources, YSR Congress is doubting six more MLAs as probable defectors.
