One RS and Assembly Seat for Uma Madhava Reddy?

TDP (TS) Senior Leader, Uma Madhava Reddy and her son, Sandeep Reddy resigned to the party on Wednesday and they will be joining the ruling TRS party later today. Buzz is that the deal is sealed for one Rajya Sabha seat and one Assembly Seat.

Uma Madhava Reddy is not interested in contesting the 2019 Assembly elections and want her to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha in the biennial elections for three RS seats in March 2018. She also wants Bhongir Assembly seat for her son.

The seat is presently being held by TRS legislator Pailla Sekhar Reddy. Uma Madhava Reddy’s husband, Madhava Reddy was home minister earlier in Chandrababu Naidu’s regime but was killed in a Naxal bomb attack.
