In a refreshing display of honesty and directness, Reddy admitted that while the new entrants might boost the Congress’s prospects in the short term, their loyalty could never be trusted. He confessed that if the Congress party doesn’t get the majority of seats and if they win even 59 seats (one less than the majority number of 60) then also these people who joined the party at the last minute will be the first ones to jump away from the party.
