One Shot By TDP, Jagan & Sai Reddy Are The Two Birds!

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has appointed 24 members to the TTD Board. Six out of the 24 are from the Reddy community. One of them is Penaka Sarath Chandra Reddy.

He is an accused in the Delhi Liquor Scam and later turned approver. He happens to be the brother of Vijayasai Reddy’s son-in-law, Rohit Reddy.

Sarath Chandra Reddy is on bail right now.

This appointment has triggered a huge uproar. People are objecting this appointment saying that this is nothing but playing politics with the sanctity of the Temple.

Meanwhile, TDP is gearing up for a legal battle against this appointment. The party says Sarath Chandra Reddy by turning into an approver is admitting that he is involved in the crime.

The relevant Act to the appointment of TTD members says those who have criminal backgrounds can not be appointed. On this ground, TDP is going to knock the court early next week.

Sarath Chandra Reddy was already appointed as the President of the Andhra Cricket Association after Jagan came to power.

Targeting Sarath Chandra Reddy means exposing the Jagan Government and also hitting Vijayasai Reddy. So both purposes will be served to the TDP with this PIL.
