Online arena not safe for Hyderabad women!

Indian women most commonly face harassment at office and public spaces. But even they are not secured in Cyber space according to Cyberabad Police. There are increasing instances of Cyber harrassment on women in recent times there.

Abusive e-mails or messages, preys of hacked mail accounts and fake profiles on social websites like Facebook are the most ways of online harassment while the victims suffer due to colleagues, classmates or batchmates at schools or colleges, and even spouses in stained relationships.

Police say such crimes have doubled in 2014 when compared to the previous years. In most cases, the culprits are held while in some cases when emails are sent through servers abroad, the broad Email service providers don’t respond to police queries on expected lines to deliver justice.
