Online shopping turning handy among Indians!

A survey on e-commerce by US-based internet performance management company Dyn revealed that majority of Indians have started taking strong liking for online shopping of various products. The study revealed that a startling 52% prefer shopping online while 42% still prefer the old style of making their purchases in stores.

The survey also revealed that Indians have slowly started recognizing the importance of mobile shopping. 3% of those participated in this survey revealed that they prefer mobile shopping for their purchases.

In India, slower mobile internet connections and poorly designed apps are detrimental to mobile commerce. Some find it hard to navigate, and some are worried about security. But slowly Indian e-commerce is reacting to these complaints and providing better platforms for online purchases.
