One of the main comaplints from the opposition parties is that the YSRCP has the knack of provoking caste and religious politics. Now, a YCP MLA has made a strange comment in this regard.
YCP MLA from Kakinada Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar said only a Christian should be the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking at a pre-Christmas celebrations event, Dwarampudi said “Only a Christian should be the chief minister of AP. Only then can pastors and Christian practitioners act freely. The Christian community will prosper if Jagan continues to be the chief minister of the state and we should work for it”.
The MLA urged the Chrsitian community to work to their full potential to see that Jagan gets reelected as the CM of AP if they want to see prosperity.
“Christians can be safe and carry on with their prayers only if a Christian like Jagan is the CM” The MLA said in the meeting.
