After the time lapsed for the submission of the bid, Telangana Government sought an extension of five more days and was also given. Even the extended timeline has also lapsed, but there is no bid from Telangana.

Twenty-Nine companies, including half-a-dozen foreign companies, participated in the bidding. The bidders included a few multinational companies and a company that had to shut down its operations in war-torn Ukraine.
