Opposition fight for Special Status end up as joke!

Opposition Parties in Andhra Pradesh – Congress and YSR Congress is resorting to mockery in the name of scaling up the agitations for the Special Status to the state. Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy always try to portray the state government as criminal in this issue as if Chandrababu was not interested in Special Status even if Center is trying to give that. Special Status will be a weapon in Naidu’s armory to develop the state. But it is a decision to be taken by the center and Naidu can not dictate terms to the center which do not depend on TDP.

Jagan is staging a fast unto death from 26th of this month in Amaravati. It will be of some use if the fast is done in Delhi but Jagan would not want do that as it may irk Narendra Modi who may in return fasten screws on Jagan through ED and CBI, accuses the ruling party. Interestingly Jagan off late is avoiding speaking to National media for the same reason. Remember he used to talk to only National media before the election.

On the other side, Congress which is the reason for this mess today having not included special status in Reorganization act is also staging agitating drama to showcase people that they are working on the issue. The party is launching a campaign wherein it will send one Crore SMSes to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union ministers from the state. Everyone knows that these do not work until Center wants to do that!
