The remaining four wings of Osmania – general surgery, general medicine, medical gastroenterology and surgical gastroenterology are being shifted to Sultan Bazaar maternity hospital in a phased manner.
There is only one CT scan, one MRI scan, two ultrasound, two Colour Doppler and four X-ray machines with Osmania. Now all the departments are at loggerheads regarding the division of this equipment. To solve the issue, the government should come forward to strengthen both the King Koti and Sultan Bazaar hospitals by equipping them with the needed radiological and pathology lab facilities.
