Vishakapatnam is on a boil after the announcement. Jagan Government has fallen in defense with this announcement. The Chief Minister wrote another letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought his appointment to meet along with a contingent of all political parties in the state.
“There are 7000 acres of land belonging to the Steel Plant which lay unused. The Steel plant will become profitable if the lands are made into layouts and sold as plots. The State Government will help the Center in the sale of those plots,” Jagan offered help in the letter.
Interestingly, this proposal of selling lands for the Steel Plant has invoked a negative response in the past but the Chief Minister still seems to be keen on that. Ahead of the Greater Vishakapatnam Municipal Corporation Elections Voting tomorrow, this issue has become a huge headache for the Ruling Party.
