Over 50 Feared Dead in a Bus Accident at Telangana

An RTC Bus lost control due to failed breaks and plunged into a deep valley near Kondagattu. The bus coming from Jagityal reportedly carrying 50 plus people. About 57 people are feared killed in this accident and 30 injured. The dead bodies are being recovered and the injured are being taken to local hospitals.

There were several children and old people among the passengers. People say that the driver is not experienced enough to drive in a ghat road. Heavy rush at this famous Anjaneya Swamy temple today as it is Tuesday and the bus was overloaded.

Locals are carrying out the rescue operations and the death toll may increase, they say. Chief Minister KCR expressed his shock over the accident and immediately pressed Minister Eetela Rajendra to go to the spot and supervise the rescue operations.
