Panchayati at Raj Bhavan Proves Inconclusive

Governor of both the Telugu States, ESL Narasimhan sat with leaders of Andhra and Telangana over contentious issues that arose after the bifurcation. But then, the meeting has ended inconclusively with both the sides sticking to their arguments.

They will be sitting together once again on 17th of April. Both the Chief Ministers will be deciding on the issue of AP handing over the secretariat buildings of Hyderabad to Telangana government. About the division of Power employees, both the MDs of Power Corporations have prepared reports which will be taken up at the next meeting.

Ministers – Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Achennaidu, Chief Whip Kaluva Srinivasulu represented AP while Minister Harish Rao, Jagadish Reddy, Government adviser Vivek are from Telangana. Senior officials of both the states have also attended the meeting in the presence of Narasimhan.
