Paradise Papers: Will Modi Come to Jagan’s Rescue?

Just 18 months after the explosive Panama Papers unveiled how several prominent personalities and leaders around the globe routed money through offshore accounts and shell companies, another major data leak, Paradise Papers is shaking the Indian Politics as well.

As many as 714 Indian names including Jagan’s are in these papers. Income Tax Department has announced that it is waiting for the nod of the central government before taking action on these allegations which will mean trouble for Jagan.

But then, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha and BJP MP R.K. Sinha have been named in the Paradise Papers. Jagan will be hoping that center will be brushing this issue under the carpet at least of the sake of Jayant Sinha and RK Sinha.
