Pataas success & Temper-N fans in dilemma

In these days of massive releases very rarely we see films which gets additional theatres added to them in bulk post the release of the film. Mostly what is happening with films today is in reverse, as the day’s progresses number of theatres gets reduced. Pataas is showing a rare phenomenon that we used to see with films almost a decade ago.

Released in less theatres Pataas has opened with superb talk and given Kalyan Ram the biggest opening of his career. From second day onwards the demand has been huge and as a result in many territories theatres are getting added in bulk. Don’t be surprised if the film runs in more number of theatres in second week than in first week as a result of this.

Coming to the trade and its recovery, Pataas has been reportedly bought for entire Nizam and Andhra Pradesh for a reasonable amount which is expected to get break even in week 1 itself. Everything after is going to be profit for the buyer which means the film is looking at a super hit status, if it lives up to the current expectations.

The only problem for the film in foreseeable future is from brother Jr NTR himself, who has Temper lined up and this is cause for dilemma among Nandamuri fans. Will Temper hamper Pataas or will it fizzle before, is something that the trade and Nandamuri fans are keenly looking at.
