Pattiseema already recovered its costs!

All the five pumps of Pattiseema Project are closed for the season on Thursday. Pattiseema Project diverted 4 TMCs of Godavari water in to Krishna River saving 1200 Crore worth crops this season. This will mean that the project already recovered the costs incurred on it so far.

Since the season is completed, the pumps are closed and they will be operational again from June. With the pumps closed, the officials are now totally focused on completing the rest of the project works. The project is 74% complete till date.

The project brings huge mileage to TDP in Krishna Delta. If not for Pattiseema, the crops there would have been totally lost this season. A fully completed project with effective planning will do wonders next year.
