Useless – Yes only for the Intolerant Opposition

Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar dam are nearing their dead storage casting a gloom on farmers who primarily live their lives on agriculture. Usually farmers of Krishna Delta would have declared Crop Holiday. Rich farmers would burn their savings, poor farmers would run to money lenders and poorest farmers will be in a dilemma between life and death.

But now things are lot different. Lakhs of acres in Krishna Delta are in the process of starting Kharif Cultivation. How was it made possible? The answer is something which the opposition would never cherish. Yes it is due to sheer proactive measures and foresight of one of the best politician ever in Indian political history.

13 Lakh Acres will be helped using this process if every thing goes right. The first phase Godavari waters released by the Chief Minister some days ago reached Krishna the other day amid much cheer of the locals. The engineers are gearing up to bring all the pumps in to operation one by one, testing the strength of the new canal.

Opposition raised several questions. Pattiseema has no storage? – Yes but that still helps. No use because Krishna and Godavari gets flood at the same time – No they do not and it still helps. Polavaram more important than Pattiseema – Yes but the state is on the mercy of center for Polavaram. Pattiseema Useless – Yes only for the Intolerant Opposition.
