Pawan Highlights Panchayat Development

Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stressed the need for public participation in village development.

He praised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s financial planning and experience, saying the government is continuing development despite the state’s debt burden.

Pawan said the Panchayat Raj system has been strengthened so villages can identify their needs and prepare their own development plans.

He claimed the previous YSRCP government built around 880 km of CC roads in five years, while the present government has completed more than 9,000 km in two years.

He also said the previous government constructed 304 Mini Gokulams, compared with more than 30,000 under the present government.

“Just think about the difference between 304 and more than 30,000,” Pawan said, asking people to compare the figures and judge the scale of the work
