Pawan Kalyan Continues to Be Political Nomad

Janasena Party just won one seat in the recent elections with Pawan Kalyan himself losing from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka. This has come as a shock to the party supporters. 120 of the party candidates lost their deposits in 137 constituencies it has contested. The defeat has completely demoralized the party cadre.

Pawan Kalyan had announced that he is not shaken by the defeat and the party will stage a turnaround very soon. He formed a couple of committees to steer the party and also announced the review meetings Parliament Constituencies wise. Pawan Kalyan reviewed the party position in a couple of constituencies the last month and disappeared.

He will resume the meetings from 17th of this month. Janasena Party is disappearing from the Political Sphere whenever Pawan Kalyan goes back to Hyderabad. This lack of seriousness is hurting the party’s prospects. The party leaders believe that unless Pawan Kalyan shifts to Amaravati, the party fortunes will not change.

Before the elections, Pawan Kalyan announced that he had shifted permanently to Andhra Pradesh but that assurance is shortlived. On the other side, there are rumors that Pawan Kalyan will make a comeback to films very soon. In his last media interaction, when asked about it Pawan Kalyan did not condemn it and just said he did not think about it yet.
