PK From Gajuwaka: TDP Candidate’s Tragedy

The other day, JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan announced that JanaSena will be winning the Gajwaka seat at any cost in 2024 elections. This is an indirect hint that he himself will be contesting from here in the next polls.

However, Pawan’s announcement might come as a tough pill to swallow for TDP regional in charge and Gajuwaka candidate Palla Srinivasa Rao.

Srinivasa Rao had been an active leader in the constituency for the last four years and his chances are said to be very bright as he is all but confirmed as TDP candidate. He polled close to 1 lakh votes in 2014 and won by a good margin, and then lost in 2019, due to a split of votes.

But in the case of an alliance, TDP might have to sacrifice this seat for Pawan who is evidently excited about contesting from here again. This comes as a tragic update for Palla who stood as a cornerstone for TDP and is tipped to be the favorite to win from here in the next election.

But that’s the way things shape up sometimes. As for Palla, he has already announced that he will follow whatever order his party high command passes and there are no two ways about it.
