Pawan Kalyan Hoping PRP Voters To Back Him

Janasena President Pawan Kalyan is currently touring West Godavari district. The other day, he made a curious comment. “There are some people who are claiming that our strength is only 4-5%. But let me remind them, we have started with 18% Vote Bank,” Pawan Kalyan assured a cheering crowd.

Pawan Kalyan is referring to the Vote Bank PRP has commanded in 2009 elections. Janasenani seems to be assuming that all those who voted for him in 2009 elections will be voting to Janasena which seems to be a far-fledged assumption. Back then, Chiranjeevi’s Mania is so high and it may be the heights for Mega Family.

It is very difficult to replicate once again. The fact is that Chiranjeevi himself cannot win in electoral politics now which reveals the impact of Praja Rajyam failure. Only, for this reason, Chiranjeevi left politics and is concentrating on films. Pawan Kalyan at this moment only commands the votes of a section of Youth and it will be difficult to assume he can cross over the projected 4-5% Vote Base.

Telugu people have never voted in confusion and always it was a straightforward mandate to a Single Party. Janasena will be relevant in 2019 Elections only if there is going to be a three-way contest like in Karnataka and he manages to win a handful of seats. As of now, things look bleak.
