Pawan Kalyan Locks Mudragada Perfectly

Kapu Community Leader Mudragada Padmanabham was one of the weapons in Jagan’s Propaganda between 2014 and 2019. He helped Jagan by making wild allegations on Chandrababu Naidu and played a little role in creating a disturbance in the minds of the Kapu community.

Recently, Mudragada wanted to come back into active politics. He also wants his son to make his political debut.

Initially, he held talks with the YSR Congress. After he felt Jagan was not giving him the respect he deserved, he initiated talks with TDP and Janasena.

Before a month or so, there were rumors that he was all set to join Janasena.

At this time, Mudragada made a wrong step. His son came before the media and made some statements that burnt bridges with the YSR Congress.

After that, Janasena pulled the plug off their talks and suddenly, there was a stalemate.

Now, Mudragada can not go to YSR Congress and at the same time, Janasena will not entertain his extravagant demands since he has no options.

Reports are that Mudragada is seeking three tickets in East Godavari – Kakinada Rural, Jaggampeta, and Peddapuram are the seats.

East Godavari is very crucial for the electoral prospects of Janasena. It is one district Pawan Kalyan rested all his hopes on. He will get a limited number of seats there as a part of the alliance. Giving three seats to Mudragada’s camp means putting all eggs in one basket.

Mudragada did not win an election since 1999. He last contested in the 2014 election as an independent from the Prathipadu constituency and lost his deposit.

He became active after 2014 to trouble Chandrababu Naidu at the behest of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He lost his credibility completely in the community when he dropped the Kapu Reservations issue immediately after Jagan came to power.

He almost became a Zero when Jagan dropped the 5% quota earmarked by Chandrababu in the EBC quota.

So, Pawan Kalyan has his doubts about how far he will be handy for Janasena!

While it is a mistake on the part of Mudragada to burn bridges with Jagan, Pawan Kalyan neatly locked him by pulling out of the talks at the right moment. Now wherever he goes, he has to compromise on his demands.
