The issue of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s multiple marriages was the primary target for the YSR Congress Party and its leaders for a long time.
Ever since Pawan entered politics, he was constantly trolled by YCP leaders for his three marriages. Today, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu explained how YCP targeted Pawan on this issue.
Chandrababu Naidu recalled how Pawan Kalyan was fed up with repeated attacks on him regarding his family. He said that he also warned the former Chief Minister not to make such remarks from such a respectable position.
“I told him that Pawan Kalyan got married as per the law. There is nothing wrong with it, and I asked him to keep it in mind,” stated Chandrababu.
“As he was so obsessed with Pawan Kalyan’s marriages, I suggested he go and marry Pawan,” Chandrababu added.
Chandrababu Naidu asked everyone in the assembly not to make any personal remarks about other leaders and their families.
He stated that strict action would be taken against people who abuse or make personal remarks against others, especially women, on social media.
He said that he would establish a separate department to monitor social media and wouldn’t spare people who behave inappropriately towards women. He emphasized that such individuals would be prosecuted publicly.
