Pawan Kalyan lost from both his seats and Kannababu won becoming a Minister in YSR Congress Cabinet. It is now emerging that Chiranjeevi has reached out to Kannababu when the YSR Congress Government is sitting on the file of Permission for the extra shows of his magnum opus film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
Only after Kannababu spoke to the Chief Minister, the Permission was accorded hours before the release day. And as a result, the movie got to a bumper opening. It looks like Pawan Kalyan has misunderstood Kannababu. We also saw Chiranjeevi going to Kannababu’s house a couple of months ago and consoling him after his brother’s demise.
Kannababu who was a senior journalist in Eenadu took a plunge into Politics with Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam. He won as an MLA and there were rumors that he is one of the leaders who convinced Chiranjeevi to merge PRP into Congress. After Bifurcation, he deserted Congress and contested as an Independent only to lose. After the elections, he joined YSR Congress and won as MLA to become Agriculture Minister in Jagan’s Cabinet.
