“Pawan Kalyan on Lokesh Rivalry: ‘I Focus on Social Harmony, Not Posts’

In Andhra Pradesh politics, YSR Congress has often tried to create a divide between TDP and Janasena cadres by pushing different narratives.

One recurring line is that Pawan Kalyan is currently working under Chandrababu Naidu and, in the future, would have to work under Nara Lokesh.

The political intent behind such messaging is widely understood: weaken Janasena cadre morale and create friction within the alliance.

For the first time, Pawan Kalyan addressed this directly during a national media podcast interview.

He was asked whether he was gradually shifting his political focus toward Telangana and leaving space for Nara Lokesh to lead in Andhra Pradesh.

Pawan Kalyan dismissed the speculation, saying he never entered politics chasing positions or government posts.

According to him, his focus has always been social harmony and the overall development of the state.

While Pawan Kalyan chose to brush aside the narrative, political observers believe that such arguments are unlikely to stop and may continue as part of the larger political battle to influence alliance dynamics and cadre sentiment.
