Pawan’s Self Goal with Tweet on Titli and Kavathu…!

As Srikakulam district people are reeling in grief aftermath Titli cyclone, we have all the parties playing cheap and chillar politics. There was news that opposition YSRCP donated one grand for the relief but until now there seems no clarity if the party is giving or already donated or will do at a later date. BJP MLCs or MLAs or MP are nowhere in the news too. If not other BJP leaders at least Kambhampati Srihari who is Vizag MP should have extended help to the Titli relief that he didn’t do.

And ironically, Jana Sena Chief Pawan called for a Kavathu which was a grand gala affair. When criticism came up that Pawan is for strength display in the name of Kavathu and not for Titli, he came up with an explanatory tweet that reads: I don’t want to be a hindrance with my Visit to Cyclone effected areas while Govt machinery initiated relief efforts & ‘cause of this I delayed my visit not because of Kavathu. TDP leaders should show some restraint while they criticise us.

It would have been a very sensible one but how can people who saw the Kavathu on TV believe this? There were parachuters who rained flowers and drones coverage on Pawan and it was altogether a different level of show and display of party’s might. If Pawan was really feeling for Titli it would have reflected in his Kavathu which did not. Now any explanation looks like a self goal by the Jana Senani!!
