Pawan takes center stage in Tirupati Bypoll!

Pawan Kalyan may have become silent in politics after 2014 elections but the actor cum politician continues to take center stage in AP politics. The ruling Telugu Desam Party is effectively using Pawan Kalyan’s image in the bypoll campaigning. We can see him on all the publicity material of TDP candidate, Sugunamma.

The bypoll was necessiated by the sudden demise of sitting TDP MLA, M.Venkataramana. It is a custom for political parties when a bypoll happens due to the death of a sitting MLA and if his kin is contesting the bielection. But Congress defied it and put up its candidate.

Finally the hopes of ‘unanimous election’ are shattered. Voting for the bielection will take place on February 13th and the counting will take place on 16th. The results will be announced on the same day. As of today, TDP has the edge in this election.
