Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan will campaign for party candidates ahead of the Telangana municipal polls. He will also canvass in support of BJP and Jana Sena candidates. The move signals a fresh push in the neighbouring state.
Pawan Kalyan will visit Telangana on February 7 and 8. The Jana Sena party has confirmed the dates. However, the detailed route map and campaign schedule are yet to be announced.
Jana Sena was formed in Telangana, and Pawan Kalyan has stated that the party will contest the municipal elections independently. The actor turned politician wants to revive the party’s original base. This visit is seen as a strategic step in that direction.
In recent months, Telangana Jana Sena has increased its grassroots activity. The party also participated in the recent panchayat elections. These efforts aim to strengthen local leadership and visibility.
There is a general perception that Jana Sena is focused mainly on Andhra Pradesh. However, Pawan Kalyan now wants to expand the party’s influence in Telangana. He hopes to build a stronger political presence beyond his home state.
