Reports are emerging that BJP had decided to allot eight seats for Janasena as a part of the alliance. The eight seats for which Jana Sena may contest include Medak, Tandur, Kukatpally, Nagarkurnool, Kodad, Pinapaka, Aswaraopet, Wyra.
All the eight seats has the presence of Settlers and BJP looks to please them by giving importance to Pawan Kalyan. Everything looks good but the question is what Pawan Kalyan is going to achieve with these eight seats.
Pawan Kalyan will begin campaign once he is back from Italy. Along with the eight seats, the onus will be on him to campaign for the BJP candidates in the other seats as well.
Contesting and campaigning for the sake of just eight seats is a horrendous decision. Realistically, BJP itself does not stand a chance in this election and may end up in a single digit.
Pawan Kalyan himself completely ignored Telangana for the last five years. Except for a handful of supporters, the party is not active in Telangana and there is no organisation structure too.
Going by the list of the seats of Janasena, the party also do not have much of a chance. Pawan Kalyan will be mocked and pulled down using these numbers. He will also have to share the misfortune of the BJP.
And then, he will have to explain the rationale behind having an alliance with BJP in Telangana and not having the same in Andhra Pradesh. The more intense his campaign is, higher the damage will be.
Chandrababu withdrew the elections in Telangana for the same reason. Tragically, the price for this thoughtless decision will be paid in Andhra Pradesh elections.
